I am passionate about meeting people at the crossroads of life and helping them navigate the journey. I understand that grief knows no expiration date and that healing, restoration, and forgiveness can be a continual process. I believe in meeting clients where they are and creating a sacred space for clients to share without judgment. I aim to help clients achieve their desired life goals using an integrative approach to fit their unique needs.

Tina earned her undergraduate degree in Theology from Chicago Baptist Institute International. She received a Master of Divinity from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
Tina has completed several master’s level certificate programs including Organizational Leadership, Suicide and Cyberbullying Prevention, and Crisis Informed Care for a Diverse, Globalized World. Additionally, Tina has prioritized her professional development by completing a one-year Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) residency.
Tina has worked as a Hospital Chaplain for over ten years and served in the Christian church for over twenty-five years. Her counseling philosophy involves the integration of Christianity and psychology, and her counseling methods include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, Christian Counseling, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Psychoeducation Group Therapy. Over Tina’s twenty years of working in the helping field, she has worked with patients, families, and staff on the cardiac, neuro, oncology, and neonatal units and at level 1 trauma ERs. She specializes in counseling college students and adults dealing with PTSD, trauma, grief, anxiety disorders, depression, guilt, shame, suicidality, self-harm, and adjustment disorders. Tina is a native of Chicago and is now living in the Las Colinas, Texas area. As one who has experienced several major life challenges, she learned firsthand the importance of attending to one’s mental health.
Tina is the mother of two adult sons and grandmother of three little princesses. She loves nature, swimming, Zumba, music, dancing, spending time with family and friends, trying new foods, traveling, attending Worship and Bible study, and watching Hallmark Christmas movies all year.
