Kelli received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas with an additional emphasis in Counseling. She earned her Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary.
Kelli felt God calling her into the counseling field after experiencing her own healing through counseling during her transition into college. She has a heart for adolescents and young adults who are struggling with adjusting to new stages in life, and she desires to help empower clients to see themselves as God sees them.
Kelli is trained in play therapy and enjoys helping children and adolescents express themselves. She also holds certification for MarriageStrong, and she is committed to helping couples build marriages for life and develop valuable relationship skills.
Helping clients learn coping skills in individual counseling and then bringing family members into the session is a very effective way to implement positive relational changes. This could look like a teenager and her parents talking through struggles at school and home or a married couple working on communication. Kelli enjoys facilitating beneficial conversations that can lead to healing and understanding.
Kelli has a passion for meeting new people and spreading God’s joy. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing with kids, dancing, being around animals, doing crafts, staying active, and watching movies.
