I love what I do. I love to encourage others and help guide them through the battle they are experiencing. I will meet you where you are and help talk you through how to move toward healing. We will celebrate the progress you make in your journey, and when approaching the difficult things to talk through, I will encourage you and give you skills to challenge your fears, thinking patterns, and heal your hurts in your own time. Heather completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Family & Consumer Sciences at Louisiana Tech University, along with her Master’s degree in Counseling at Dallas Baptist University. She is currently a doctoral student at Regent University in their Psychology and Counseling program.
Heather is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Anger Management Specialist-I. She has had experience working with families and children in various settings, including foster care and adoption, medical hospitals, psychiatric facilities, school, and private practice. It was working in foster care that drew Heather to the field of counseling. She wanted to help families and couples at a deeper level.
