Dr. Shelly Warren completed her undergraduate
work in psychology at Austin College, graduating
magna cum laude. She earned her master’s
and doctoral degrees in counseling psychology
from the University of North Texas. She is
a member of the American Psychological
Association and the Texas Psychological
Association, and she serves on the Board of
Trustees for the Dallas Psychological Association.
Shelly is a licensed psychologist who specializes
in child and adolescent issues such as attention
and learning difficulties, social and behavioral
problems, depression, grief, anxiety and
adjustment to parental divorce. She conducts
psychological and psychoeducational
assessments to identify individuals’ strengths
and areas for growth, and she provides
recommendations to help them become more
successful. She enjoys working with parents
to help decrease parenting stress and improve
the parent-child relationship.
Shelly is a native of Plano, Texas where she serves as a Bible Fellowship teacher in the Children's Ministry at her local church.
